THE NEUROBIOLOGY OF KINDNESS AND TRAUMA-SENSITIVE SERVICES IN INTEGRATED CARE
This session qualifies for 6.0 continuing education hours if you attend all 6 hours of the event. It's from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm on the second Monday of November.
Keynote Speaker: Maggie Bennington-Davis, M.D.
Panelists: Glenace Edwall, Ph.D., Psy.D., MPP; Willie Garrett, M.S., L.P., Ed.D.; BraVada Garrett-Akinsanya, Ph.D., L.P.; Macaran Baird, M.D., M.S.
"A little kindness can go a long way." is something I've heard since I was a young child. As life has unfolded, it's something that's proved to be so much more than just a saying.
This conference is about ACEs, TIC and integrated care so that those in the mental health industry can better identify sources of trauma, effectively structure services which reduce traumatic impacts not just for the patient but the providers and the community at large, AND ideas of how to integrate trauma-informed care in small practices, health care systems, and beyond.
For more information on this event (including schedule) or to register, please go here.
Prices range from student to member to non-member and early bird savings, too!
*This event is not being hosted or sponsored by PSC, LLC, rather it's MPA, The Minnesota Psychological Association who maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
